Photoshop: The Power to Make Roses Eternal

What do you do with the roses given to you by that someone special? Well, this past weekend was our anniversary and this morning I got an idea...

What if I could take a picture of them. Then, they could last forever right? I then suddenly thought, "Hey, this might be a great time to practice with my manual mode." Well, lets just say I wish some of you lived near me so you could teach me all of these secrets.

In the mean time, I learned that flowers can be a great way to practice. It was a lot harder than I would have thought. Even with the windows all up, my iso kept wanting to jump to 800. I could not figure out how to adjust so that my histogram would read correctly. Now, I have a few more things on my list to figure out. In the meantime, I have these beautiful flowers that will last forever.
