aka tightening of the chest, slowness of breath, a lack of desire to tackle the world, extreme hyper focus on the unaccomplished and uncontrollable things in life, an overwhelming urge to jump on the nearest plane and escape reality as you currently know it.
Hmmm...Have you been there too? I am over at Heart of the Matter today talking about a recent meltdown that I had and sharing how I was encouraged by "poo". Yep, you heard that right. If you would like to read on then click the button below.

Great reminder, Beth!
In my case, you could add, "You went to the freezer and realized the tricky circuit breaker tripped off sometime in the last few days and now..." well, you get the idea.
Now that's a visual I will be sure to remember during my next mommy meltdown! Great post.

I read what you wrote over there, very good Beth!
When I read your article, it was such an encouragement to me. I had just said to my dh that my heart felt like it was wrapped in rope and someone was just squeezing and squeezing. I don't know that I had ever really paid attention to that feeling before, but I know I have it often. It was interesting that the very next morning I read your post and there it was - my feeling in your words! Thanks for the insight and encouragement.
Poo? You know it's a good post if poo is involved : ).
