Yesterday the boys went to a birthday party that lasted from 10:30 in the morning to almost 9:00 at night. (Their friend wanted an all day play day for his bday and my sweet friend obliged)
So, what did I do with myself for almost 10 hours yesterday?
First, it went by WAY TOO FAST! It felt more like 2 hours then 10. LOL
But I did some major shopping and went to a movie all by myself. I have never done that before and it felt great!
The night ended with dinner at the Olive Garden with my sweetie where he surprised me with this!
I can’t wait to go walking now! The only sad thing is the Bose headphones that I would love to have cost almost as much as this little thingy itself. So, now I am adding to my wish list gift cards to Best Buy and iTunes. Just saying in case anyone in particular is really wanting to know. :)

Oh how fun!! I've got the pink one myself...HOT pink. =) You will love it - not only because it will give you something do to on your walks, but you can use it simply to tune out the world when you need a break. Once you're hooked up, you can download a whole bunch of FREE podcasts from the internet. I download free Odyssey ones to my kids ipods, and I get some from various other great christian sites. Of course listening to it on music is my favorite.
I think it was so sweet of your husband to surprise you with that gift - what a great guy!!! (Feel free to email my husband any time with pointers - hee hee).
Glad you had a great child-free day. We all deserve them once in a while...it makes the other days so much sweeter, doesn't it?

I wanted the pink one! (I already have a plain old white one-so I am stuck with it...until maybe my son's birthday when I can wrap mine and get a pink one...Hum...I don't know if that's a good idea!)
